Half hardy annuals with fragrant flowers
In recent years most half-hardy annuals have been developed for the flower colour and habit, scent has been ignored; fortunately, some are still scented.

Brugmansia (Datura) suaveolens Angel's trumpet; huge white lily-like bells. 6ft/1.8m
Cleome 'Helen Campbell' White spidery flowers; very elegant. 4ft/1.2m
Dianthus 'Chabaud Enchantment' Carnation; seven colours. 18in/45cm
Dianthus 'Rainbow Loveliness' Frilly, scented, single mix. 18in/45cm
Heliotropium 'Marine' Best vanilla-scented type from seed. 18in/45cm
Ipomoea alba Moonflower; evening scented white climber. 8ft/2.4m
